Torchlight Parades & Fireworks
All three area ski resorts celebrate the New Year on December 31, 2022.
Kick-off the evening with a kid-friendly Glowworm Parade starting at 5:30 pm! Kids will be given glow sticks to carry to the base of the Sweetwater Gondola. The Torchlight Parade will start shortly after and the festivities will culminate in an impressive fireworks display.
Snow King will celebrate New Year’s with fireworks beginning at 7:30 p.m. Gather at the mountain base for a great view of the show! If you are staying in downtown Jackson, WY, then this is a convenient option for ringing in the New Year.
If you’re skiing or staying at nearby Grand Targhee Resort be sure to check out the Grand Targhee glow-stick parade, torchlight parade, and fireworks display. The events kick-off with a kid-friendly torchlight parade, followed by the main event with fireworks! Festivities begin at 4:30 p.m. and continue into the evening.
