Million Dollar Cowboy Bar – The historic Cowboy Bar w/ the iconic neon cowboy is a must stop while in JH. Belly up on a horse saddle and enjoy some traditional country music 6 nights a week. Also, check their website for free swing dancing lessons.
Town Square Tavern– A family friendly sports bar during the day and hopping live music venue at night. The Tavern offers affordable lunch/dinner and a patio overlooking the Town Square. At night you can find live music ranging from hip-hop, country, reggae, to club DJ’s.
Local– One of my personal favorites for happy hour (4-6pm, half off drinks). A casual place to grab a nice cocktail and catch up with friends. These guys also have one of the best burgers in town.
Silver Dollar Bar– Great service and speedy bartenders at The Historic Wort Hotel. The Silver Dollar Bar is a favorite of locals on Bluegrass Tuesdays. You can find more entertaining live music here on the weekends.
The Rose– Think swanky New York style cocktail lounge meets Southern ski bum. The specialty cocktails here are great and the recently added dinner menu is phenomenal. If you like whiskey, gotta try the “old fashioned”.
Snake River Brewery– Jackson’s most awarding winning brewery is a hot-spot during the Summer for locals and tourists alike. Not much to say except, this is one of the best all-around places to eat/drink in town. Can’t leave Jackson without trying one of their famous beers.
Thai Me Up– Melvin Brewing are the new guys in town that are making a lot of noise. Not only is the Thai food some of the best in town, the beer is spectacular. Their “2×4” IPA just won GOLD at the World Beer Cup in Denver.
The Virginian Saloon– The Virg is a staple for the locals trying to escape the busy, tourist filled bars of the Square. Wednesday night here is karaoke night, which is always entertaining.
Eleanor’s … Again– Best wings in town, period. Walk through the liquor store to find one of Jackson’s best kept secrets. Ask one of the friendly bartenders to put your sports team on any one of the many flat screens, and they will most likely make it happen.
Cutty’s– Located at one of the busiest intersections in town, Cutty’s is another place locals congregate to share a pint (coldest Bud in town) and catch up on some sports action. They have a great outdoor patio w/ a few yard games to pass the time. They may very well have the 4th best pizza in town. Try it, and please let us know.
The Bird– Located just south of town, The Bird is one of my personal favorite places to grab a beer, burger, and/or some wings. The outdoor seating overlooks the Valley and is a great place to escape the busy bustle of the town. Ask, for Nelson (tall goofy bartender) and you are sure to share a good laugh and get the inside scoop of what’s going on around town. Rated #1 on TripAdvisor for several years.
Stagecoach Bar(Wilson)- Voted Wilson’s Best Watering Hole 100 years in a row. The Coach plays host to Disco Night every Thursday and The Stagecoach Band every Sunday. Also, located adjacent is one of the Valley’s only sand volley ball courts.
Mangy Moose (Teton Village)- The Moose is a staple in the Valley when it comes to live music and Apres Ski tunes. If you are staying in Teton Village, after taking a ride up the Tram, swing into the Moose for a cold pint of local brew.
Dornan’s (Moose)- Best view in the Valley to grab a drink. Located at the base of the Tetons, Dornan’s is the perfect spot to grab a drink after a long flight into town. Every Monday you will find The Hootenanny going down. The Hoot is a long standing tradition of locals that play an intimate set of live music.
Handle Bar (Teton Village) Located inside the Four Season’s Resort, the Handle Bar is a casually classy place to have a drink and mingle with visitors and locals alike.
